Annual Silpi Mondal Memorial Painting Contest.

Every Year on last Sunday of January, Rotary Club of Burdwan organize an annual painting competition in memory of Late Silpi Mondal, a rotary let and the contest is named after her name as ' SILPI MONDAL MEMORIAL PAINTING CONTEST ' This year on 29/01/2023 we arranged the Painting Contest at Aurobindo Satdium at Burdwan from 8 am to 10 am, where 857 students of preparatory to class VIII level from 13 different schools of Burdwan Town and nearby areas done their free registration and joined the competition. The participants were divided into 4 Groups according to their classes of study in respective schools. The club provided all of them free drawing sheets and gift kits. The total event was manged successfully by club members and Rotaractors from Rotaract Club of Burdwan. All the submitted drawings have been sent to a panel of judges. After having their recommendation top 5 from all 4 groups totaling 20 winners will be encouraged with prizes and cash gifts on the date of Rotary Birth Anniversary on 23 rd February in club RWM , in presence of a renowned guest artist of Burdwan, who will invited in the prize giving ceremony as Chief Guest.
