Awareness on Breast Feeding ( Maternal And Child Health)

In the International breast feeding week we conducted an Maternal and Child Health awareness camp with main focus on Breast feeding. The renowned gynecologist and Past AG Rtn. Asim Kanti Adhikary was the chief speaker. The camp was held in a tribal santhal village. 49 tribal women and 40 children took participation in the camp. The women were educated about the importance of breast feeding and at the same time were also informed about the various tips to keep themselves and their babies healthy. Dr. Adhikary in a very simple language shared valuable information's about maternal and child health. The programme started on time and was a great success. At the end of programme healthy food packets were distributed among the participants.
