BAL GURUKUL PROJECT

Bal Gurukul is a project meant to train and nurture young minds who are underprivileged and weak at the school level and school dropouts. It comes under Indian Development Foundation Programme, which is a national NGO committed to health, education, and development. It is an organization in special consultative status with the UN Economic and Social Council since 2012. Bal Gurukul is a holistic project designed to render children of low IQ or low financial status excel through this training.
It is a joint project in collaboration with RC Arohee Calcutta, RID- 3291, and the inauguration of this project was held on the 10th/11th Sept at the chosen school. In this regard, we also had a joint meeting with members of RC Arohee Calcutta, RID-3291. Dr. Narayan B. Iyer, the trainer for this project came all the way from Mumbai to our club.
