Conclave on the National Education Policy 2020

A conclave on NEP 2020 was organised by RCSH along with a Teachers Trainning Programme on the 17th of September from 10.am. to 2.30 p.m. where five Resource Persons and Eminent Scholars deliberated on NEP 2020 and interacted with the participants of the conclave. The programme witnessed the participation of diverse stakeholders in the NEP including teachers, principals , parents and students. The Conclave was inaugurated by Rtn Dr. Bibhash Chandra Das Purkayastha, Advisor District Literacy and graced by the District Literacy Chair, Rtn. Partha Pratim Phukan. The speakers were 1)Prof. Brinda Bazeley Kharbih Rymbai, Prof. Department of Education NeHU. spoke on Nep 2020 the vision. 2) Dr. Careleen Y Kharmalki Assoc.Prof. DERT who spoke on NEP 2020 and Meghalaya3) Rtn. Abhijeet Sharma , mission Director school of livelihood and Rural development who spoke on NEP and vocational education 4) Dr.Sima Saigal assoc. Prof. NCERT, NEIRI who spoke on NEP 2020 and traditional knowledge in school Education and 5) Prof.H.Srikant, Dept. of Political Science who critically reviewed NEP 2020.The speakers were felicitated by the club with a Ryndiah ( traditional khasi shawl), a citation and the Rotary Four way Test. This event was published in the local newspaper.
