Defeat Diabetes Campaign

Project Overview:--: This project helped us participating in the 1 day 1 Nation 1 Million Diabetes test drive and record in Asian Book and we are very proud of this.
Project Description:--:
On 29th September on World Heart Day, we participated in nationwide Defeat Diabetes programme and could successfully complete and update 423 Diabetes tests. We had arranged 4 camps, 2 were at Bolpur, 3rd one was at Bhedia ( 25kms away from Bolpur) and the 4th one was at Joydev ( 30 kms away from Bolpur). Our president and Rotarians visited all the camps through out the day. At the start of the day there were lot of hurdles because of bad weather, down server we couldn't think of completing this challenge . But with the help of our RCC we made this challenge a successful one. Our volunteers have done exceptionally well. There were arrangements for blood pressure , blood grouping and weight measurements also. We have arranged Accu check Active Glucometer with strips as backup plan. This was a successful project.
