EYE CAMP

On 28th August '22, an eye camp was organised in association with Bongshar Jalti Das High School Committee at Sualkuchi. Altogether 186 patients were screened out of which 36 were detected with cataract and pterygium with 3 patients. 104 Spectecales n 20 eye drops were distributed free of cost to the needy patients. All the cataract patients will be operated at KGMT Hospital Guwahati on a situpalated date.The stunning part of the project was that optermerist was non other than son of Rtn Mayank Mamtora, Dr Manav Mamtora. The project was well supported by the principal ,Mr Pulin Bharali for which president Rtn Rajiv Jaiv thanked him n his team. Rtn Pramod Bengani ,the chairperson of the project also thanked Mr Anjan Das for his co-operation and in promotion of the eye camp and also thanked two sisters from KGMT Hospital who carried out BP and sugar(random) for all 186 patients. 20 Eye drops and 104 spectecacles were distributed to the needy patients.
The camp was concluded at 2 pm followed by Lunch which was provided by the school committee.
