Fiesta Christmas Celebration

RCS FESTIVE FIESTA
An evening of fun frolic and music, that and much more, was what the evening of 17th December 2022, was about. The festivities began with a beautiful talk about the Theme of Christmas, by Father Gerald Khonjee, Rector, Christ King Philosophical College of Shillong. Father Gerald spoke about what it meant by Jesus, the Son of God, to be born amongst men and referenced many other religious spiritual treatises to explain about the involution and evolution of matter. This was followed by Christmas carols played and sung by the Father and the Brothers who accompanied him. The musical talent of Rtn David Umdor also came to the fore, with the guitar playing and singing, which other members joyously joined in. What is Christmas without a cake? Rotarians and Ann’s enjoyed the cake cutting as well as helping themselves to the sumptuous fare thereafter. An evening of camaraderie, of light hearted conversations, of renewing ties, of bonding. A beautiful way to usher in the spirit of Christmas.
