Free Cataract Eye Surgery

Project Description:--:
We conducted medical camps on 1st July and 1st August with Eye screening for people living in nearby villages. The people identified with cataract were then contacted and arrangements were made to bring them to Siliguri Town for cataract surgery. The surgery is being performed by Lions Eye hospital. We operated 6 people in August and 12 people in September with cataract. This is an ongoing project of our club for this year.
