We RC Of Siliguri Uttorayon Believers could successfully help a poor man regain his vision on 7th Oct'21.Mr Ratan Sikdar, a 56-year-old male, who came to us on 20th Aug. He did not see in his left eye following some complications during a cataract surgery done elsewhere. We have planned to do a Vitrectomy followed by Lensectomy and Sutureless Scleral Fixation of IOL . standard IOL cannot be placed and support to the patient who is jobless and simply not in a position to undergo the procedure. This procedure is essential for him as without it, he can never see again and following this procedure within two weeks, he should regain FULL VISION! Update after two weeks: the patient has recovered near-normal vision. We are proud of our Member Rtn.Sangita Reddy who took initiative to help in doing and also to members for there generous support and kind-hearted gesture towards a man and his family. The club also helped him to start a business under the guidance of President Rtn. Kiran Kayan.
