Project Description:--:
On 21.12.2022 Rotary Club of Gauhati South (RCGS) adopted Nandi Mikir Prathamik vidyalaya chasal and inaugurated as ‘Happy School’ under RILM. The Happy School was inaugurated by Prasanna Bora, Inspector of School, Kamrup Metro. Rtn. Partha Pratim Phukan, DLCC, RID- 3240 declared the school as the 3315th happy school of the Country. AG, Rtn. Pawan Golcha, Rajesh Bhatra, President, RCGS spoke on the occasion. Rtn. Manjushree Barua explained objectives in details and the work done in the school. Club donated 150 books, 15 pairs of desk benches, basketball, football, carom , etc. The school play ground was also developed. Ms. Tapasri Sarma, District Programme Officer, Teacher Training also spoke on the occasion and thanked the Rotary Club for developing the schools.
