Rotary Club Shillong Heritage organized a multi club obesity screening camp at Deshbhakta Tarun Ram Phukan Indoor Stadium. There were 200 beneficiaries who were screened. Blood was tested for Sugar, Hba1c, Uric Acid, Lipid Profile and Hemoglobin. ECG Fibro scan was also carried out. .The other clubs were RC Guwahati South and Rotary Club Guwahati Luit. There were 200 done . BMI and body fat scan was carried out with counselling. A group of Dieticians from NENDA gave dietary advice and a group of doctors from All India Obesity Research Association , Assam Branch and Shillong examined these patients and gave them their valuable opinion. The event got a wide media coverage. Rtn. Dr. Debumalya and Rtn. Kunal of Gold gym Shillong gave a talk on it
