Project Overview:--: Poilo Awareness Campaign and Rally was organised by Rotary Club of Asansol Greater on 24 th October which was also World Polio Day
Project Description:--:
A Polio Awareness Campaign was organised by Rotary Club of Asansol Greater on 24 th of October . Firstly We ,The Club President, Rtn Tapas Ghose, Club Secretary ,Rtn Sujata Mukherjee along with our AG , Rtn Gautam Choudhary and Zonal Co Ordinator ,Rtn Sunit Das along with Rtn Surajit Mukherjee and Rtn Ritwik Ghatak along with some other Respected Dignitaries gathered in front of Millenium Diagnostic centre which is located in a prime place in Asansol with our Rotary Club Banner and The Rotary Polio Awareness Logo. We spoke on Rotary International's initiative in eradication of Polio, We tried to spread awareness about Polio among the surrounding people, patients and passerby.
Secondly, We started a rally with the Rotary Polio Logo displayed at the back of Cars and other vehicles. We moved along GT Road Asansol and made people aware about Polio.and spoke on World Polio Day. Many local people joined our rally and moved along with Us. The rally and the Polio Awareness Campaign was a great success.
