The statue of Shri Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar which is located at a prime position in Asansol was renovated by the initiative taken by The Club President and Club Secretary of Rotary Club of Asansol Greater .On his Birthday which is on 26th of September Sri Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar's Statue was decorated and garlanded by Club President, Club Secretary,IPP and other respected Rotarians of Rotary Club of Asansol Greater. The chairman of Asansol Municipal Corporation Sri Amar Chatterjee also paid tribute to the statue of Shri Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar on this day.
