Rotary Car Rally and Promotion of Rotary’s The Four Way Test

• Rotary Club of Imphal (RID 3240) organised a Rotary Car Rally to spread awareness on "Save Loktak Lake, Save Environment and Say No To Plastic" along with the promotion of "Rotary's - The Four Way Test" on 26th Feb'2023. Rally was flagged off by Rtn M. Harekrishna, IAS, Commissioner, Govt. of Manipur from Rotary Bhavan, Mantripukhri and ended at the Loktak Lake, Sendra, Bishnupur District. Rally teams stopped at Nambol Bazar, Bishnupur Bazar & Moirang Bazar and distributed about 1000 eco-friendly cloth bags along with pamphlets inscribed with ‘Rotary's - The Four Way Test’ to general public at all three bazaars to spread the message of "Save Loktak Lake, Save Environment and Say No To Plastic". The rally ended at the Loktak Lake, Sendra by handing over a plaque inscribed with "Rotary's - The Four Way Test” to Shri L. Bhagaton Singh, Director, Loktak Development Authority by the president of the club. Shri Bhagaton Singh thanked the members of Rotary Club of Imphal for organizing such awareness programme on the theme ‘Save Loktak Lake’ and encouraging the public to say no to plastic and use eco-friendly bags and later a lunch was also arranged by him for all the participating members and family members of Rotary Club of Imphal as a part of Rotary Family Get-Together too which was followed by a boat ride at the beautiful Loktak Lake. The team, later, visited the Sangai Ethnic Park at Moirang Khunou and the INA HQ at Moirang. The programme was organised as part of the golden jubilee year celebration of the club.
