Rotary promotes Fitness and Wellbeing and handing over Vocational Service Awards

• Rotary Club of Imphal and Rotary Club of Polo City Imphal (RID-3240) played a friendly football match at Play 7 Turf, Mayaikoibi, Imphal on 29th Dec’2022 on the theme ‘Rotary Fit’ to promote fitness and wellbeing. The friendly match was won by RC Polo City Imphal. Members of both the Rotary clubs had been promoting sports as well as sportsmanship for the youths of the state, besides rendering humanitarian services to uplift the community.
• As a part of the programme, vocational service awards were handed over to Shri P. Renedy Singh and Kumari Ng. Bala Devi, who had played for Indian national football team. They are both youth icons of Manipur as well as the country. Shri. T. Baleshwar Singh, owner of the Play 7 Turf, was also felicitated for his contribution to promote sports and healthy lifestyle amongst the youth of the state. All the three of them were honoured by both the clubs for their vocation and contributions to nation building.
• This programme was organised as a part of Golden Jubilee Year Celebration and local media had given wide coverage of the programme.
