Project Description:--:
A group of 12 young students from six different countries namely Brazil/ Germany/France/Italy/Spain & Japan arrived for a tour of north east india on 4th October 2022 from RI District 3131 ( Pune) where they are studying as part of the rotary youth exchange program led by Rtn Sobha & Ashok Nahar !
They were hosted jointly by all 10 Rotary Clubs of Guwahati and they stayed in homes of Rotarians !
Veronica and Yasmin stayed with Rtn Rajiv and Rtn Swastika Jain for three nights!
The students were taken to experience the Durga Puja festivities as well as the Dusserha celebrations!
They met both the chief minister and governor during their visit!
A cultural program cum felicitation function was held on 6th October at PWD convention hall and it showcased the culture of the seven sisters !
The students had a memorable trip and left on 7th morning for ongoing trip to Shillong!
