Members of Rotary Club of Silchar Pink have observed the Nation Builder Award Program on International Literacy Day, 8th September 2022. 10 teachers, 5 Primary teachers and 5 High School teachers have received the Award. Some guests and Media persons were invited in the program. AG Zonr XV Rtn. Chandana Purkayastha was the Chief Guest of the program. President Rtn. Samita Dutta in her welcome speech congratulated all the awardee teachers and expressed her commitment to the society for imparting education to all section of people. The awardee teachers expressed their feelings and each and every one appreciated the process of selection of teachers. AG Rtn. Chandana Purkayastha explained the Literacy Mission of Rotary to the audience present. Guest of Honour Mrs. Swarnali Choudhury and Mrs. Sudipta Sengupta highly appreciated Rotary activities at the end of the program. and assured all their support to the Pink members for their activities. The media people also expressed their gratitude for inviting them to such inspiring program. Secretary Rtn. Parnashree Bhattacharjee offered her formal vote of thanks at the end of the program. After the ceremony, a small cultural program was there and the Guests present presented songs and recitations. 17 club members attended the program. The program was followed by Hi-tea.
