As September is the Literacy month in RI, Teachers Day was celebrated on 5th September by our Rotary Club of Asansol Greater to commemorate the Birthday of Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan.Four Teachers (2 Female and 2 Male) were felicitated and we're offered token of appreciation by our Rotary Club for their contribution to the society as Teachers. This year more emphasis was laid on Language and the Language Teachers were felicitated as they play a vital role in educating students in their respective languages and in making the students aware of their mother tongue and culture.Homage was also paid to Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan by garlanding his photo and offering him prayers.
