On 23 and 24 December 2022, RC Gauhati South organized a two-day training for 30 (thirty) teachers from various Govt primary and high school teachers of greater Guwahati under the T-E-A-C-H project of Rotary India Literacy Mission at Veterinary College Campus, Khanapara, Guwahati. Program was inaugurated by Rajesh Bhatra, president of the club. Rtn. Anjana Choudhury Saikia, Club literacy chair, delivered welcome address. Rtn. Minoti Borthakur, former professor of Cotton College; USTM’s pro vice –chancellor Rtn. Dr Balendra kr das; Special educator (Intellectual Disabilities) Tribeni Goswami Vernal; Dr shiromoni Bhuyan, lecturer, DIET and Ranu Borgohain, former teacher, TC Government Girls’ HS and MP school were present as the resource persons. An interactive session was organized where senior Rotarians Manjushri Barua, Renu Goswami and Priyam Goswami interacted with the participants.
